Grey in the midst of all this gloomery

Then the sky blooms blue and perfect

Steeped in gold the fields breathing dew

Fling light back to the heavens

Announcing Autumn's magic;

"We are here! We are still alive!

The leaves have fallen, and under their carpet

We sleep, only that, for a spell."
